I just opened this to be able to follow awesome people! I post/ reblog things I love such as:
Harry Potter, Hunger games, Games of Thrones, cool movies like inception, great books just as The Notebook, Gone with the wind and Jane Austen. TV shows : BBC Sherlock, the big bang theory and Dr. House.
Read a post recently on the difference between poster art and DVD cover art. In that light, I thought I’d share some of my favorite movie posters from Disney Animated Canon. When the piece you use to represent an artistic achievement is a work of art in its’ own right, you have something truly special on your hands.

A real mother is the most wonderful person in the world. She’s someone who loves and cares for you and tells you stories. She’s the angel voice that bids you good night, kisses your cheek, whispers, “Sleep tight.”

disney-where-dreams-come-true:
It’s true, if it wasn’t for Cinderella and The Little Mermaid, Disney would have been closed long time ago, Walt Disney put all his money on Cinderella, if it flopped in the box office it would have been the end of Disney, same goes with The Little Mermaid, both movies were a huge success, so huge that Cinderella helped Walt building Disneyland, and The Little Mermaid rose Disney from the Dark ages to the Renaissance.
Umm, this is kind of inaccurate? The future of the Disney animation department was banked on The Great Mouse Detective after the failure of The Black Cauldron. THAT is what set the stage for the Disney Renaissance. Sorry Ariel, but you’re wrong, lol.
Ummm not really, the huge success TLM has achieved made so much money for Beauty and the Beast as well as for Aladdin, The Great Mouse Detective and The Rescuers just held Disney back from shutting down for while, it was TLM who actually set the record straight and gave Disney a break to make more movies, that’s why the Disney Renaissance started in TLM, while The Rescuers and The Great Mouse Detective are considered from the Dark Ages.
